Instruction:
This pattern is written using American terminology (US-TERMS) , and thispattern introduces two different crochet techniques for coasters. You can practice sc and inc in coaster A and hdc in Coaster B.
Method A:
In this pattern, we will learn sc and inc. at the beginning of each round, we need to do sl st and ch1 to make the circle more smooth.
sl st : slip stitch
ch1: one chain stitch
Let's start:
With color of your choice.
Rnd 1: 10 sc in mr [10]
Rnd 2: sl st, ch1, (inc) x 10 [20]
Rnd 3: sl st, ch1, (sc, inc) x 10 [30]
Rnd 4: sl st, ch1, (2sc, inc) x 10 [40]
Rnd 5: sl st, ch1, (3sc, inc) x 10 [50]
Rnd 6: sl st, ch1, (4sc, inc) x 10 [60]
Rnd 7: sl st, ch1, (5sc, inc) x 10 [70]
Fasten off,
leaving a long tail and weave in the yarn end.
If you want to make a bigger caaster, just continue to crochet new rounds, each rounds add the number of sc in the sequence.
f'or example:
Rnd 8: (6sc, inc) x 10 , sl st, ch1 [70]
Rnd 9: (7sc, inc) x 10 , sl st, ch1 [80]

Method B:
In this pattern, we will learn hdc and hdc inc. it works up more quickly than Method A.
hdc : half double crochet
hdc inc:two hdc crochet into the same hole
Let's start:
With color of your choice.
Rnd 1: 10 sc in mr [10]
Rnd 2: sl st, ch2,(hdc inc) x 10 [20]
Rnd 3: sl st, ch2,(hdc,hdc inc) x 10 [30]
Rnd 4: sl st, ch2,(2hdc,hdc inc) x 10 [40]
Rnd 5: sl st, ch2,(3hdc,hdc inc) x 10 [50]
Fasten off,
leaving a long tail and weave in the yarn end.
If you want to make a bigger caaster, just continue to crochet new rounds, each rounds add the number of hdc in the sequence.
f'or example:
Rnd 6: (4hdc, hdc inc) x 10 , sl st, ch [60]
Rnd 7: (5hdc, hdc inc) x 10 , sl st, ch [70]
