Easter Eggs
Skill Level: Beginner
Material:
- Yarn: FreeasyFar Beginner yarn (1.76oz/60yds). Color of your choice.
- Hook:4.0 mm crochet hook
- Extras: Stitch marker,Tapestry needle and scissors
Abbrevations:
- ch = chain
- mr = magic ring
- st = stitch
- sc = single crochet
- dec = decrease
inc = single crochet increase (work 2 single crochets into the same stitch) - FLO = front loop only
- BLO = back loop only
- […] = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/Rnd
- (…) x… = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of stated
Instruction:
This pattern is written using American terminology (US-TERMS) , and thispattern introduces two different crochet techniques for coasters. I recommend you always mark the start of each round, using a stitch marker or a strand of thinner yarn.
Note:I recommend, when you decrease (dec) in this pattern, always use the invisible decrease
(working in the front loop only).

Rnd 1: 6 sc in mr [6]
Rnd 2: 6 Inc [12]
Rnd 3: (3sc, inc) x 3 [15]
Rnd 4: (4sc, inc) x 3 [18]
Rnd 5: (5sc, inc) x 3 [21]
Rnd 6: (6sc, inc) x 3 [24]
Rnd 7: (3sc, inc) x 6 [30]
Rnd 8-12: 30 sc [30]
Note: if you want to change color,you can start changing color from Rnd 8.
Rnd 13: (8sc, dec) x 3 [27]
Rnd 14: (7sc, dec) x 3 [21]
Rnd 15: (2sc, dec) x 6 [18]
Rnd 16: (sc, dec) x 6 [12]
Start stuffing firmly with fiberfill.
Rnd 17: dec x 6 [6]
Close the ball:
Fasten off , and leave a long tail. Using your yarn needle, weave the yarn tail through the front loop of each remaining stitch and pull it tight to close. Weave in the yarn end.
